    Are you a substantive Crew Manager looking to make a difference for a Fire and Rescue Service on a journey of change and improvement?

    If so, and you are looking for a challenging and varied role within a Fire and Rescue Service that is driving forward change on a local and national perspective, a role as a Crew Manager within Essex County Fire and Rescue Service could be for you.

    Essex County Fire and Rescue Service (ECFRS) has several opportunities for substantive Crew Managers looking to transfer into our progressive and developing Service. At this time, we are looking for people who are substantive Crew Managers from other Fire and Rescue Services looking to make a lateral transfer only.

    Essential criteria includes that:

    • You are competent in their current role
    • You have no current live disciplinary warnings, and is not subject to being informally managed for reasons of conduct, performance or attendance (this will be confirmed by reference)
    • You must pass a fitness assessment
    • You must hold a current BA V&D Assessment.
    • You must have successfully completed all relevant operational assessments and compulsory courses to their role.
